Barcelona is full of great little gems.  This page about “Barcelona restaurants after sunset sail or day sail” is our selection of places to eat and drink. After sailing you get hungry, and “Where to eat?” is often asked after a sunset sail or day tour.

We have no relationship or deals with the selected Barcelona restaurants after sunset sail or day sail other then knowing some of owners. Food is very personal and our Barcelona restaurant choices are based on on healthy and good quality food.

All the restaurants are located in the center of Barcelona, El Borne, El Raval, Cuidad Vela y Barceloneta, however some of them are too far to walk from Port Olimpic.  Estimated walk time is indicated with the restaurant description.

Our list of best places to eat in Barcelona after sunset sail or day sail are made per barrio, and the order is random.

El Borne

Granja Petito, 2.8 km a 36 minute walk from port Olympic, this cafe bar has homemade healthy food and is actually just outside born has some small place outside. The food is good, attention to vegan, gluten food requests with a warm and attractive atmosphere.

En Aparte ,  a bit closer 2.6km and 21 minute walk from your sunset sail.  A nice combination of bar and restaurant, with French touch, high quality food and wines, small french plates, friendly staff and with a nice quiet terrace.

El Bitxo, 3.0 km, 30 min walk a small Spanish tapas bar, close to the Palau de Musica with friendly staff and nice tapas, the small fish dishes are a favorite of mine.

Blue Project Foundation 2.0 km, 15 minute walk from our sailboat Samba, raw food and vegan restaurant. Very healthy food, unfortunately no place to sit outside.  One of the very few restaurants in Barcelona that hold the Ecological Restaurant Certification (CAAE) and proximity guarantee (Slow Food). Update 2/2019, the owner told me that they will close, it is shame such a great place.

Barceloneta

El Bar del Basko, no web page but closest to the boat,  a 15 minute walk along the beach. This is a very small restaurant that focus on high quality food with a Bask tradition. Wine is good here as well. Address for google: El Bar Del Basko, 08003, Carrer de Sant Carles, 21, 08003 Barcelona.

Cuitat vella

Cafe Emma, 3,3 km and 44 min away by foot from the boat. A real restaurant with very high quality food, a bit more pricey and a very nice setting, the outside terrace is a bit noisy.

El Raval

CCCB cafee next to Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona is a bit further away 4.7 km, 1 hr walk, but certainly worth the trip.  A nice quit terrace with sun from 12:00 on wards. Good food, but take your time. I like the staff, and actually my wife and I come here often. The food is high quality and prepared with traditional technique.

Bar Principal,  near on the corner is bar Principal, an every day bar with a special atmosphere, my morning stop before getting to work – “it has everything a bar must have” according a owners of two other bars. The terrace is great but noisy it is never empty.
