Barcelona is a fantastic city, but for some it might be too busy, for others they miss the nature and there are so many awesome things to do outside Barcelona. Barcelonasail lists a couple of destinations that we believe is worth a visit.
Barcelona is located at the foothills of Parc Collserola. A 80 hectare large hilly park, with the highest peak 500 meter (1500 ft). This parc is fantastic for kids and families wanting to escape the city. Only 3 kilometer from the city center this is one of the easiest and fasted things to do outside Barcelona.
Vila Vella in Tossa de Mar is a 105 Km drive from the center of Barcelona. This picturesque city is full from mid June to beginning September, however in May and late September it is a fantastic gem to see. In the off-season May September October the weather is generally good, and all the facilities are open.
The old streets are calm again you are surrounded by hills and still in a quiet small town.

Sailing to Montgat or Masnou. Sailing to Masnou is a 2 hour sail tour, it brings you to a small town just 10 kilometer north of Barcelona. It is an activity that is very popular. After 2 hours we return and enjoy the sea again.
