What can you expect?

We board at port Olimpic. After a brief safety instruction from the captian, we head out the harbor to the sea. We set the red spinnaker and we sail gently along the beautiful coastline of Barcelona. This is undoubtedly the perfect moment to take some photographs. Where other boats have to use the motor to move, we glide quietly through the water with a glass of cava or beer for enthusiasts. If there is nothing in between that you like, feel free to bring something yourself. To fill the silence there is a speaker on board that you can connect and play your own favorite music. While enjoying the sun we can stop to take a dip into the sea to cool off a bit. Unfortunately, all fun things come to an end and we have to get back to the harbor. Perhaps during te tour, we are lucky and we get company of turtles, dolphins or maybe even whales!

You don`t need any sailing experience because you get company from one of our experienced private skippers who will do anything to make it an unforgettable experience!

Port Olimpic: location sail boats and Catamarans

BarcelonaSail selected the marina of Port Olimpic (English Olympic Harbor) to operate from. Because the port is centrally located and close to the sea. From the harbor we are within 5 minutes at sea. A great benefit compared to port Vell. The BarcelonaSail address is: Port Olimpic, Moll de Xaloc, 5 (doc 5) Barcelona.

How to get to Port Olimpic

The easiest way to get to Port Olimpic is on the metro (station Ciutadella/Vila Olimpica), on the yellow line – line 4), or by walking along the Barcelona beach. When you reach Port Olympic, you need to come to the side of the port that is nearest to Barceloneta. The best landmark is the two towers (Mapfre and Hotel Arts) – that’s the correct side of the port.
